I know exactly what he did....How? Because he was honest about it ...he had a different take on the situation than you do and he fought for what he thought was good. He lost the fight and went on to do some of the stuff you are asking for.... It was clear as day

Thanks for the insult and your implied superiority. Securing a relatively easily secured border during war time is basic stuff. It is not like he had to choose between controlling the border and massively growing government as he did. Bush could have done both. I don’t hate Bush. I believe he is a good man but he wasn’t a very good President. Trump is correct when he says Bush gave us Obama and that probably no republican could have been elected after Bush in 2008. He really screwed up his second term and managed to alienate many people who may have been inclined to vote for a republican.
