Regardless of whether the roadblocks were put up by Jamie Gorelick, Bush was still the president when the attack happened. Bush's people should have undone the roadblocks as soon as they came into office. Instead they left them in place. Certainly Clinton bears a lot of the responsibility for putting into place the roadblocks to catching the plot before it was hatched, but nevertheless, Bush was pilot of the ship when it hit the rocks.

It is a cliche to say that Bush kept us safe. He kept us safe only after 3000 Americans were killed. Then he himself instituted rules against profiling muslims and Arabs which we can only thank God were not exploited during his watch.
