well, I have little sympathy....I have a brother with Parkinsons and a cousin with ALS....my mom died of cancer...

all good people....

so why would I worry about a millionaired richy rich privileged basketball player living with no responsibilities except to take drugs and sex from whores...???

I expect to read deaths of lots of the idle richy rich any day of the week, every day infact....the same can be said of the millions of people taking drugs daily.....I just can't drum up sympathy anymore.

No one’s asking anyone to show sympathy. I'm asking people not to be so dismissive of human life, particularly one so troubled. The man came out of poverty, his mother died when he was young, his father was a heavy drug addict and they were estranged for years, he had an infant child suffer a crib death in his first marriage, and now he's going through a divorce and his second marriage. He's not perfect but good Lord can people just keep their mouth shut when they have nothing good to say?
