My dentist always compliments my teeth. I floss, mouthwash, and brush twice a day. I’m not going to stop on the off-chance that I’m “doing it wrong”.

My dentist is the same. However, when I was young, he would tell me what nice teeth I have; then, he would ask if I floss. The answer was no, and then I would get a lecture on flossing.

My problem with flossing is that, I think, my teeth were very close together and getting the floss between them was not easy; and, even harder getting the floss out. Now that I am (a lot) older, I guess my teeth have shifted a bit, and I can floss with ease. Also, I need to use floss now; but, didn't when I was younger -- for removing "debris".
