Good stuff, but I believe, “and don’t call me shirley” was from Airplane. The first and one of the funniest satires ever. I was in a theater in Germany for training and took a break to see the film. The entire audience was ROTFLTAO. It wast the start of crazy funny satires.

“The entire audience was ROTFLTAO”

I did literally fall out of my seat laughing when I saw Blazing Saddles, the friend I was with did too.

Great lines from that movie too:

I’m tired, tired of being admired.

One false move an the n*gg*r gets it (spoken by Clevon Little holding a gun to his own head)

Candygram for Mongo!

But we don’t want the Irish!

Police Squad was from the Zucker brothers, and starred Leslie Nielson.
This is the same group that later made Airplane.  Many of the goofy
lines in Airplane came years before on the TV series,
including, "Don't call me Shirley."

Originally, yes. But, the same trio (Zucker, Zucker, and Abrahams) produced Police Squad! (in Color) a couple of years after the release of Airplane! They may have used the same joke again -- they did reuse others.
