Joe Biden called staff 'dumb f**ks' and plagiarized speeches during 1988 presidential campaign, book claims
Former campaign staffer Jeff Connaughton makes the claims in George Packer's book, The Unwinding: An Inner History of the New America Connaughton started off on the Biden for President campaign in 1987 He said Biden failed to learn staff members' names while on campaign trail Instead he would use names such as 'chief', 'cap'n' and 'dumb f**k' In September 1987, he was accused of plagiarizing a British Labour Party member's speech Joe Biden terrorized his underlings and was accused of plagiarizing speeches as he fought for the 1988 Democratic presidential nomination, a former staff member claims.
The current Vice President also hated fundraising, former campaign staffer Jeff Connaughton claims in New Yorker writer George Packer's 2013 book, The Unwinding: An Inner History of the New America.
Connaughton started off on the Biden for President campaign in 1987, working under Biden's veteran chief of staff, Ted Kaufman, according to the New York Post.
