Naw, the Kurds are 30+million people who live in Northern Iran, Northern Iraq, Syria and Turkey...They claim their homeland encompasses real estate in these Countries...
Saddam Hussein didn't care much for them and he used to bomb them regularly while using chemical weapons on them as well...
Turkey doesn't like them because they claim land which Turkey also claims...They are in constant battle with the Turkish military...PKK is the name given to the group of Kurdish militants who are fighting in Turkey and parts of Iraq...
The Kurdish people love the United States...They aren't too fond of Obama since he refuses to give them any military equipment to fight ISIS...They are the enemies of ISIS and Al Qaida and until Russia showed up, they were doing the most damage to these terrorist groups...They are not muzlims...
