I'm gradually moving away from cable. I was paying around $200 for an ill advised bundle — internet, tv and phone. I broke up the bundle, got rid of the phone and now have bare minimum tv and wireless internet. Essentially, my tv consists of local channels just because I'd rather watch local news and weather on tv. But as local channels have started offering streaming of their local news, at some point I'll be rid of the cable tv too. I just need to find some cheap way for good reception. Where I live, rabbit ears don't work well.

That’s his “game” -— as a curmungeon. Ornery, irritating, both friendly but conniving at the same time.
With an attitude of “take me or leave me, I am what I am.”

And also like Trump, the comedians and other talking heads are generally hostile to him, but his ratings remain stellar.
