Microsoft wasn’t very smart. When the Lamia flagship phone launched they limited it to AT&T. Why they didn’t make it available to all carriers is beyond me.
Not everyone needed Blackberries, either, but if you need it, you need it.
The Lumia 950 will support a screen, keyboard, and mouse, and full scale Office.
MS is now OS agnostic now. Only reason why Apple isn’t supported is that only Apple supports Apple now. Period. Good example is the MS watch. They’d support Apple but the licensing fees are outrageous.

I went wild with apps a few years back. Now it is mostly Youtube, Netflix and a few business related apps.
I would switch in a heartbeat. For now, my Galaxy SII is still perking along.
The article completely6 ignores the fact the Microsoft is not primarily a consumer-focused company like Apple, Google, etc., but rather one that sells to businesses. It will be a long time before Microsoft is pushed out of that world.
I’m not saying it can’t happen, but the writer doesn’t even mention the much larger business services Microsoft currently has a lock on.
