I don’t see in this reports where off-duty officer Scott Hedrick identified himself as police officer before making making demands and roughing up the 70 yr old man stroke patient.
A 70 year old deserves respect, it says in the Bible, you shall show deference to the aged.
They brought you into this world and you should be guided by the fear of God in your dealings with them.
If you can’t do that, you’re just a thug - in this a case, a thug wearing a uniform.
Elderly people make mistakes and due allowance should be made for their condition.
That’s no excuse to assault them, even for a justifiable reason.
