Is Audi part of the VW corp?

I presume they make diesels for those.

Yes, most of the affected Audi diesels are in the entry level A3.

The vast majority of affected VW Group diesel vehicles are sold for under $30k.

In the US the average striking price for a new car is $33k.

The number of VW Group Diesels sold in the $50k plus price category is a tiny percentage. To categorize VW Group Diesels as “high end” is the equivalent of calling GM Trucks ultra high end because some Escalades are sold for over $100k.
