It’s not malware. The program is only looking at the construction of the link. It starts with free republic and it ends up somewhere else. This link construction is common for some links that have malware. The link is designed to fool people into clicking on it. This is not the case on free republic.
My thinking is that computers should do the same thing with the same input; or I get nervous.
