The problem is that most of the American elite not only want to manage America’s decline, they want to profit off it.

I completely agree with that assessment.
100%.
Everything for sale in every store I go in anymore, is imported from China.
We are running a HUGE trade deficit with China. Our country is now 19 trillion dollars in debt, and that is rapidly growing.
Yet Donald Trump is the only person saying America needs to be for America.
How is this possible, and where the heck are all the rest of the “candidates” as far as being for America.
Everyone is building up China.
In both parties. Everyone.

Other elites I believe are content to live anywhere in the world and they don't give a hoot about their offspring.

The good news is that Donald Trump will bring it to a halt!

The problem is that most of the American elite not only want to manage Americas decline, they want to profit off it. The 1% automatically get richer as population density increases well beyond the optimum, so of course they are gung ho for massive immigration despite now having to scrape the bottom of the immigrant barrel to make it happen. A concern is Mr. Big City Real Estate himself needs immigration to keep making his mortgage payments.
