This show totally kicks ass! It brought the fun back into zombies, but without being cheesy. It’s still scary, sort of like the “Scream” movies. I think it’s better than Walking Dead, IMO.

It started out as a cheap Walking Dead knockoff and then they made it funny and they had a hit.I might have to give it a second look. TWD sucked me in from the opening scene and I've been hooked like a crackhead ever since.
I turned Z-Nation off as soon as I saw D.J. Qualls dressed in camo.

Haven't been watching the second season, but caught the first season on Netflix.
Fun, relatively light zombie fun. Lacks the artistry of The Walking Dead, but also got rid of the pontification and dime-store philosophizing of TWD too.
D.J. Qualls is fun to watch, like a little Buschemi.

A Z marathon was run a week or so ago on the network. It was season 1. Check to see if its on video somewhere. I couldn’t put it down. But, it takes a couple of episodes and you’re hooked.

yeah, I thought so too when I tried watching the first couple of episodes. For some reason, I turned it on about mid season and it was suddenly compelling. The young stranded Air Force guy at the North Pole base trying to lead the band of survivors to get a cure. It was better than the walking dead.
