I have a Squire Jazz Bass in "natural wood" I use to practice, I keep it near my desk.

Life is too short to play an ugly bass.

I just upgraded my personal to a nice used MIM Fender Delux Five String Jazz, but couldn't find a Natural in my price range, but it's a nice maple sunburst.

I'll buy an American in natural when I will the lottery.

I have a few basses, including a acoustic upright.

I'm rather partial to my Epi SG bass. $199 new....and lots of good used ones out there. Try Guitar Center.
