On the short-lived Rush Limbaugh TV show, he did a segment on ribbon wearing. I think he came out on the set wearing all of them, and explain what some of them "stood for".

His own creation was a ribbon folded from a dollar bill standing for "deficit reduction".

I actually took my dear dad to one of Rush’s tv shows. It was on the west side of NYC and taped at 6pm. It was during the WACO horror concerning Janet Reno.

I had an actor friend whose red AIDS ribbon got so long, he once tripped over it.
