When she was outside the fence and saw the dead guy in the street, was anyone else here yelling at the tv, “Pick up the gun! Take the gun!” ?

If she got caught with a firearm outside the safe-zone, she'd likely be shot dead on the spot, as it appears the pistol's previous owner was.

This is something gun-owners (and I am one) should consider if the SHTF; when to take your weapon with you and when to stash it away.

Right now the military is shooting first, asking questions later. Might not be the best time to be running around with a handgun.
