I saw an interesting comment at spoilthedead.com.

Someone opined that Nick might be the only one on this show who might end up improving himself in unexpected ways, which would not have happened without the ZA...much like Daryl became a better person on TWD.

Nick’s going to have to get clean now...but without the ZA, he probably would have continued on as a junkie until he OD’d.

While going through his withdrawal, Nick seems more focused than the others.

That’s my thought, too. I think Nick might be the character to root for. I’m pulling for him to beat his addiction and become the “Carol” of the group. :D

Well first...he’s gonna have to pull the stolen morphine drip needle out from between his toes and crawl out from under that old man’s bed. He’s still very much a junkie.

Most of those kids need to get eaten.
