Last night's episode stole my dream.
Nick’s mildly interesting, but the actor is doing a non-stop James Franco impersonation.
Yep...gotta agree.
First thing I thought when she cut the fence was that this lady was DEEPLY stupid. One, going out unarmed. Two, leaving the fence open so the infected could get in.
The house painting was personally funny. Back in ‘05 we had been hit by Hurricane Wilma. No water for a week. No power for 16 days. We had already decided we were getting out of Dodge, so my wife thought that this was the perfect time to start painting the kitchen. When I saw the FTWD Mom painting during the Zombie Apocalypse, I said “Hey Honey, someone who thinks like you!” I hope the bruises will go away soon.
And then she left the gun lying in the street. Evidently, the survival instinct was bred out before the walking dead showed up.
She’s a school teacher therefore all guns are icky.

That’s funny. I do get the painting the walls thing actually...it’s a distraction to not have to think about the bigger picture... When our basement flooded in Iowa, 2008, hubby sent me & the kiddies to a hotel. He stayed home with the dogs & did demo & painting. Electricity was sketchy, no water. WTH....but the sweaty work calmed him. Then again, he didn’t venture off to the major flood zone looking for trouble, either...
But this really isn’t the time for distractions. Or stupid actions.
She’s worse than just being a lump on the sofa, or the scuzzy pool floater, like her son. She’s an active danger.
No one here needs reminding this “woman” also abandoned a kid, a student, the smartest one in the series so far, to his own fate, left FOOD behind at the high school, but managed to score a big stash of drugs for her creepy kid.
She’s earned a Terminus finale.
It was definitely some one flashing to signal others. At the end it was more orange muzzle flashing.
I think it is to study them and the effects that the drugs they are taking on combating the virus. Nick is addicted to opiates, the old man was on a morphine drip. Maybe there is a correlation between opiates and virus as an inhibitor?
It’s only been 9 days and the CDC is looking for answers, which we know from TWD, there are none to be found....
My daughter is a teacher. She also carries a Glock. Good upbringing.
I am going to smile for a week when these jokers get eaten.
My opinion is that the “undesirables” are being used for experimentation to see how the virus is spread.
One needs to remember “the Walking Dead” refer to those still living. So your points may have some merit. But they did remove the malcontent fat neighbor with the bad ass convertible Malibu and the CO (who need to be fragged but I see him eventually being eaten alive) even stated that fact.
She was the school counselor. She and Tobias (the nerd, zit faced kid) killed the principal.
Paging Dr. Mengele. Dr. Josef Mengele you are your are needed in the experiment lab 2, STAT!
This could be a pretty good series if the writers had enough time to develope it. Not sure that’s gonna happen over the next few weeks.
I can’t really fault the families for behaving the way they do in the face of the epidemic. They don’t really know it’s an epidemic, and they’re gonna rely on the “authorities” to make everything alright. In the meantime, junkies gonna do what junkies gonna do...as will unruly teens...as will non-prepper types (which they obviously are).
It chaps me to no end to see them walk to a sink, cut on the faucet, and half fill a glass with water to drink, or wash their hands with no thought of conserving. They should be filling HUGE containers...while the water is still running. Wait until they turn on the tap and “gurgle, gurgle”.
I do believe they have been given some lessons in reality (last night). Just hope they’ve learned something.
Too right! Stealth should be a factor in any SHTF choice of arms.
I noticed that, too! And this was after his dip in the pool, and he's staying in his own house where I assume that he has some of his own clothes! So far, we've seen him wearing his (zombie) girlfriend's shirt, a hospital gown, and the old man clothes! It's as if he has no clothes of his own in his own house. What is up with that?!
He’s been living on the streets for a couple of years. His mom told Travis she was tired of his BS in the beginning (and reaffirmed that by beating his dumb ass last night). For all we know she through all of his crap out so he wouldn’t come back.
Had no idea, since I don’t watch /s
We can split hairs over job titles later.
The nerdy kid was the only one with awareness...knew where to get food and advised counselor woman.
And she kicked him to the curb as quickly as possible.
Sorry, but that is probably the most realistic scene in this whole show so far.
Selfish public servant, absorbed in own worries, tells the KID with the valuable info to shove off and good luck.
You’ll either see nerdy fat zit kid dead next week, or at the head of an armoured column later...depends on which way the writers go.
That's a hell of a point!
Frankly, I don't have any answers that aren't strained.
