The main thing that everyone needs to keep in mind is that no debate will ever change the fact that Trump will not be beholden to anyone but the voters, and anyone else who might win the nomination (for EITHER party) will essentially be owned by the rich and powerful individuals and organizations who raise the thousands of millions of dollars of the necessary campaign contributions.
That is why the big-money power brokers are in such a quandary. Ordinarily, they simply buy whomever looks to be most likely to win, but Trump doesn’t need or want their money, so all they can do at that point is either attack Trump, “contribute” to losers (which is pretty pointless), or pull out of the game (which again is pointless). Therefore, the only rational option for the rich and powerful who are used to buying up all the necessary politicians is to take out Trump. They have no other choice.
The Fourth Branch, “The People”, we were speaking in 2010, and we were organizing in 2012, We will be on fire in 2016, one way or the other!
I don’t hate Trump, I just wonder why it doesn’t seem FR gives him the same scrutiny as they do others. When people say Trump has his own money so he won’t be beholden to anyone— well Donald Trump is still a businessman and has kissed up to the Clinton’s and others. Yes, someone else in his family will run his businesses if he is elected, but he is still going to want to “help them out”. He’s said it himself, it’s the nature of his world.
