Currently I’m meaning the craziness happening between Israeli’s an Palestinian’s with the Mosque right now.
We’re being invaded by an angry Muslim horde, yet we’re supposed to just “act nice” and let them in.
Why can’t we shoot them like the Israeli’s would, what’s the problem? I’m all for it.
Your leaders, that’s the problem.
500 years ago the would have been slaughtered by the army as invaders...now they’re treated as refugees from a war torn craphole. A war, I might add, many of them were active in fomenting and conducting.
Israeli police very rarely use deadly force against Palestinian rioters unless they are posing a danger to life and limb (i.e. large rocks, firebombs, slingshots with metal pellets, guns).
That is why the Israeli police suffer such a high injury rate as compared to other police in different countries.
The Palestinians want to kill Jews and Christians and are willing to die trying.
The Israelis know that if it happens, the photos will be one-sided and anti-Israel thanks to a completely immoral western press.
It’s hard to be an Israeli policeman on a good day. On a bad day, it could be deadly, just like in the US.
I don't think it's quite that simple. "Why cant we shoot them like the Israelis would, whats the problem?"? The Israelis don't just "shoot Muslim hordes." The Israelis know, as well, how to live with some measure of grace and cooperation with Muslim fellow-citizens and neighbors, wherever possible. I am always impressed by the temperate and measured nature of Israeli responses.
Yes, there's force: potentially devastating force. But there's also diplomacy, even a kind of finesse.
I don't see the Israelis as being quick on the trigger. Not at all.
