Does Anyone Know Why The Move To Oust Boehner and McConnell Is Failing?
Septmber 17, 2015

Posted on 09/17/2015 5:20:35 PM PDT by Steelfish

We have all had it with Boehner and McConnell. This is the axis of the Washington Cartel that protects their leadership positions, pomp, prestige, and power. Ted Cruz and Carly Fiorina have demanded that Planned Parenthood be defunded as part of the Budget Appropriations Bill. Should not we the grassroots demand that serious contenders for the Republican nomination do the same? To borrow the old saying, if they don't see the light, should we not make them feel the heat? We need to throw out these two rascals who are doing the bidding of "Club for Growth," "American Prosperity," and the rest of the donor class.

If there are other ideas out there to rid these bums from office for betraying the mandate of those who got them re-elected, let's hear them. But it's past time for a little Jeffersonian revolt.

They’re the failing engine on the race car until it comes in for a pit stop (election). Not much you can do until it’s time.

Sure. Lesser evil voters are still calling and supporting him. Same as last time.

Oh, and thats what happens when people go all pragmatic instead of electing principled leaders. THEY get ‘pragmatic’ too.

Because the entrenched establishment in Washington is fighting to keep them.

I ensured my RINO rep knew exactly where I stand on throwing out Boehner.

You forget the first two rules of being a congressman

1. Get re-elected...

2. Keep you plum committee seat...

Both leaders have huge sway in both...they aren’t going any where until 2016...

most of the gop congress is very happy with boehner and mcconnell. it just has to look unhappy for certain gullable gop voters.

Because Boehner is showing some willingness to go along with conservatives.
I doubt he’ll do enough though.
This all comes to a head in about a month when deadlines on budget, debt, and other actions occur.
Until then it’s in negotiation.

Changing Leadership is a very difficult and, obviously, disorganizing thing to do.
But I think it will come to that.

The answer is REALLY SIMPLE...

MONEY.

They got it, they control it, and you need it to get reelected, in an era where even the the most remote congress seats cost millions every two years to keep.

When are we going to stop pinning our hopes on the GOP? Nothing will change. They’re just as much as the enemy as the Democrats.

“If there are other ideas out there to rid these bums from office for betraying the mandate of those who got them re-elected, let’s hear them.”

NEVER give money to the RNC, or any state GOP.

Give to candidate directly instead.

I give to my Senator Cruz and Rep Gohmert only. Cornyn is someone who needs to be primaried as he supports traitor McConnell

Because McCarthy and Ryan, the so-called “Young Guns” will not support a coupe de etat of their respected elders.

Here’s the link: Ryan, McCarthy Call for End to Move to Oust Boehner

“”I support John Boehner as speaker,” McCarthy said in a statement, Politico reports. “We should be spending all of our time and energy confronting this administration’s disastrous policies. The intrigue and fighting amongst ourselves only makes it harder to get that done. It ought to stop immediately.”

Added Ryan: “The best person to lead the conference right now is John Boehner, and any attempt to remove him would be counterproductive,” Politico reports.

Because 0dungo has weaponized his NSA (just like his IRS) to dig up the dirt ON EVERY CONGRESSMAN to get the outcome he desires? Oh yeah, and SCOTUS too.

What's the matter with Bakersfield? Its voters chose as their representative McCarthy, a champion of the GOPe, as was his predecessor Bill Thomas.

Bakersfield is in California. How many true conservatives do you know from that state?
