Carly Fiorina on Friday addressed Donald Trump's remarks about her face, defiantly declaring she is "proud of every year and every wrinkle."
Ladies, look at this face! the Republican presidential hopeful said at the National Federation of Republican Women's annual conference, according to the Washington Post.
Fiorinas rejoinder came in response to a comment her White House rival made in a Rolling Stone interview published Wednesday. Look at that face, said Trump, the GOP front-runner. Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?! Despite Trumps insistence Thursday that he was talking about persona, many accused the real estate magnate of misogyny. The mostly-female audience laughed and cheered as Fiorina brushed aside Trumps remarks. "This is the face of a 61-year-old woman, she said. I am proud of every year and every wrinkle.

[[And who cares anyway? LOL]]
Actually some people would like their president to be a little more mature than someone making fun of someone’s looks- -
I never trust people who don’t use their real name. Cara? I thought it was Carly.
Man, do I miss that guy. Thanks for that.LOL
When I was born I was so ugly the doctor slapped my mother.
Rodney Dangerfield
Oh for gawds sake, why don’t you go take a long walk on a short pier. If you want to just pick a fight go find someone else.
He didn’t do it on camera. It was no big deal. Losing an election over Cara Sneed’s face is not worth it.
I like it!
I’m not picking a fight- I’m simply telling you how your post came across and why it came across that way - calm down
(And you’re the one throwing around the insults- then lecturing me about not insulting others? - whatever)
Why is she even in the Presidential election? Look at her face, does she look trustworthy you? Would you really hire her? Look at her record, man.
That is a bit odd.
She probably doesn’t have anything to hide, but I always think that a person who changes their name is hiding something.
Hollywood does it all the time. Different reasons, I think.
It might be interesting to know.
“So on the weekends are Megyn and Spit Hume still hooking up?”
Supposedly that’s over, GG.
However, in these trying times, it can be easy to rekindle an old flame...
Spit looked like he was in pre-psychotic breakdown the other night. I think he is going to have to be put on sedatives soon. LOL!
His mark was not “beyond the pale.”
He was merely treating her as an equal.
He was treating her the way she herself treats other people.
She spends some of her time criticizing the appearance of other people in the press.
If the old woman doesn’t think what Trump said about her looks is fair game then she should have set the standard instead of snaking about the appearance of other women in public office.
Sometimes you reap what you sow.
Right now Fiorina is reaping her due harvest.
His comments were made in front of a reporter who was interviewing him. He was dumb and got comfortable around the reporter and shot off his mouth. You are NEVER “in private” when sitting with a reporter.
He should know better.
Your tagline is totally anti-socialist, and yet a ceo laying off employees to restructure a company to be more profitable or to survive a downturn (essentially, saving the company) is 'ruining lives?'
Which is it, because you can't have free enterprise which is subject to business cycles, and also not lay off employees.
I don't like her at all as a candidate, but certainly not because she wisely laid off a ton of people during a downturn in which IBM and a hundred other big tech companies were going through the same and doing the same ... that being exactly what they should have done.
Also, lives are not ruined when people are laid off - or at least - if they are - it's not the employer's responsibility. If you live and work in a free market, and you don't know that it's a naturally possible outcome no matter how great an employee you are, then you're not being responsible.
It's just that the comment was a socialist comment, and I know you're not one.
Good points.
