Pro tennis has been ramping up drug testing in the last few years. She might be experiencing a return to normal after prolonged enhancement use, or it might be just age and genetics as she’s getting into her mid-30s. Some people just are freaks of nature, although these days suspicion seems warranted.

According to the links below Agassi never won three Grand Slam tournaments in the same year. The only Americans to do that were Tony Trabert in 1955 and Jimmie Connors in 1974. In all seven men have won Career Grand Slams: Fred Perry, Don Budge, Rod Laver, Roy Emerson, Andre Agassi, Roger Federer, and Rafael Nadal. Agassi is the only men’s singles player to win a Career Super Slam which consists of the four grand slam tournaments, the Olympics Gold Medal and The ATP World Tour Finals.

Me too! For years! Ha! Not in a romantic way; but have so admired his athletic accomplishments. He seems to be an all-around decent guy. Am happy for him and his family and hope that he achieves even more before he finally hangs up the racket.
