In Saudi Arabia there is a city. And in that city is a meteorite. And that meteorite is attached to the side of a small, square building.
Each year, Muslims come from all over the planet to walk in slow circles around that meteorite, in the hope of getting close enough to place their lips upon its shiny surface.
When the day comes that that meteorite has been pulverized into dust, and the building to which is attached has been pulverized into dust, and the city where that building is located has been pulverized into dust then I might perhaps begin thinking about possibly forgiving Islam for 9/11.
Very well said. You captured a feeling I have every year on the anniversary: amid all the mourning and handwringing over the “tragedy” of 9/11, a lot of people seem to forget that there is a very, very big unsettled score.
But, I have slight disagreement with you: The place with the meteorite would be a good place to start evening that score, but it will never lead to forgiveness. I know different folks have different religious feelings on the topic of forgiveness, but the evil of Islam is outside the pale of humanity and even if it weren’t, to be forgiven, one has to be contrite, has to show remorse, has to apologize, which the Mohammedans will never do.
Our response should have been immediate deployment of nuclear assets. As in H-bombs.
Instead, this stupid nation elected a muslim sympathizer as President. TWICE.
Most of them deserve the horror that is coming...
