You should be in control of the OS, not the other way around. But, if you know your computer is being minded (sic) for data and you are okay with that, then by all means, proceed.

It's been well documented that your computer is not being mined for data. It's also been well documented which Windows Services can be turned off if a Microsoft customer is concerned about what data Microsoft is actually receiving.

Your post is full of FUD.
