So did anyone go to church today and hear any mention of Kim Davis being jailed for adhering to her Christian beliefs?
Yes our Pastor discussed Kim Davis in Sunday School then we prayed for her.
My future discussions on the topic will be with me an my savior. I don't get to Kentucky that often.
I found a couple of threads on this that were very good. Maybe if you haven’t read them, you might enjoy them.

Yes, prayer was requested, and supplicated.
I had to leave as soon as the service ended at my church, so I didn’t have the chance to discuss it with my friends there. I know all would’ve been supportive of Kim.
Gotta wonder if our pastors were even aware of the situation and if so did they intentionally avoid discussing it.
Is that near the rock on which Jesus said he’d build his church? If so, it’s on my bucket list of places to visit. The top of my list is Jerusalem.
I think it’s PC avoidance...
Your church and mine may need to start paying attention.
If you discuss it with Jesus, you then know he wasn’t a go along - get along kind of man. Got them all in an uproar when he healed on the Sabbath and such. He never backed down.
I believe that you answered your own question. The muslims will use the homosexuals as allies to destroy the Christians, just as they will use the Black “converts”. Then they will turn on both with a fury and devour them.
All Federal Judgeship Appointments are for life. The only they can be removed from Office is to be impeached by Congress. That rarely happens. I believe Alcee Hastings was among the last to be removed from the bench.
For a beard, perhaps?
I am the pastor, and I included a petition for Kim Davis and other persecuted Christians in the Prayer of the Church. I also talked a bit about the situation in Bible class after the service.
I don’t think that’s it. My understanding is the cave goes into the rock where there used to be a pagan temple.

During the time of Christ, Caesarea Philippi was a large city built upon a bluff with a rock face about 500 feet long and 100 feet wide. According to Matthew 16:13-18, this is where Christ declared that Peter was rock, and upon this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of the netherworld will not prevail against it.
I spoke my feelings.
If you disagree you have two choices.
Ignore it or appeal to the Mods to get me banned.
My soul is saved, you need to work on yours.
Briefly. Law of man vs that of God. To be a Christian is to accept rejection and persecution. Wish the pastor had said more. I am in Kim’s corner, and realize all faiths will have different religious considerations.
This country has long respected religious objections—until now.
Our preacher definitely spent time on Kim and the situation.
It looks like Kim’s situation was an important topic at your church at so many different levels. Rightly so.
I won’t presume to know the details of God’s plan, but leaving homosexuals and islamists to duke it out against one another sounds like a preview of hell.
