The last seven years have made a lot of us, myself included, at times as mean as snakes.I tend to think I have been a Free Republic subscriber or watcher from It’s startup. I have seen the constituency change over the years I tend to believe that such change is natural as to time and events. However, I strongly believe the goal/intent of FR and Jim have remained the same. As such I am at loss as to why a believer in FR of any length of time would want to take a pass because of unimportant change(s as to spirit and goals.
