I read somewhere last night that the county officials are considering using either a stamp of her signature or an autosignature to goose the permits through, but in my opinion, that amounts to forgery, and therefore will render them illegal. The judge has made a real legal mess for himself, the state, and the county by throwing her in jail.

Now the Federal judge is breaking Kentucky State law to force the deputy clerks to sign the marriage certificates when these clerks have no authority to do so.
