Au contraire, Common Core is achieving exactly what it was designed to do.

Further degrade the quality of scholarship of students, dumbing-down the sheeple so they may more easily be manipulated.
Centralize control of public school propaganda, indoctrination, and acing-out local input which might continue to act as crucibles of good academic innovations.

Analogous to Obama, CC is actually succeeding when it appears superficially to be failing.
