Oooops.....design flaw. Every mechanical designer knows you have to ‘keyway’ things or users will ALWAYS put things together backwards
Design flaw, indeed. In this case, it appears that merely making the diameter of the "nailhead" on the stylus "clicker" a millimeter -- or a few thousandths of an inch -- larger would have avoided this whole problem.
