I believe you are right - it doesn’t look like Jeb is in the running, at least in terms of reality versus perception.

But now on here the Donald apparently needs a good Veep candidate to win.

And so the how and why’s concerning The Donald keep on turning with so many theories/hypotheses/conspiracies theories about the GOPe being spun, and they don’t compliment each other, either, they are often in contradiction to one another.

Don’t get me wrong, I have no love for the GOPe, but this can be a neither/nor election (neither Jeb nor The Donald), and we don’t have to have conspiracy theories abounding, either.

Which is understandable but is purely destructive if we don't look ahead to what comes next. If we simply destroy the GOPe with no plan moving forward, all we'll do is hand control back to the democrats. While I wish Rand Paul were out of the presidential race I couldn't understand the point of Trump saying he also needs to lose the seante seat. He's far from perfect but he still gets a top ten conservative rating from most conservative groups.

Removal of GOPe leadership should be the goal but we will need to salvage a lot of less than perfect republicans for at least the short term. Personally I like the idea of senate majority leader Mike Lee and Speaker of the House Louie Gohmert.
