Add to that, if you had cancer you are closely monitored for years to come. Those CT/PET scans can turn up some of the smallest of 'growths.' So much so, I go back in October to remove what they believe is my colon cancer coming back to the operative site three years ago. So small on the CT/PET but they know the trends. So we are ahead of the curve this time and I will probably avoid chemo.
Thank you for your kind thoughts. I am very fortunate.
Just saw your Tagline my FRiend. Prayers for you as well.
Take good care and keep fighting the fight.
Congratulations on your Remission.
Thank you FRiend.
It is wonderful that we’re now able to win so many battles against this ugly monster.
Glad that they caught it early, Redleghunter. :-) But I'm sorry that you'll have to undergo surgery.
One of my younger cousins was diagnosed recently with breast cancer a second time. The first time, it was caught when it was very, very tiny. This time, it was a little bigger, but still caught early enough that she won't need chemo.
Still, I wish neither of you - nor any of our other FRiends here - had to ever fight this thing again. Or, better yet, not even a first time.
May God bless you!
Thank you so much! God Bless you for what you do here on FR!
Please keep us posted, Redleghunter. Although I’m sure you’re doing well and will continue to do well, you know us freepers - always happy to pray for each other. :-)
When I get close to my surgery you will be the first here to receive my prayer request:)
