Two of my long favorite Wingy Manone recordings are early ones, both recorded in the year 1930:

“Wailing Blues” recorded under the pseudonym ‘The Cellar Boys.’

“Up the Country Blues” recorded under ‘Barbecue Joe and his Hot Dogs.’

My Dad told me he liked this “hot jazz” as a boy (born in 1920)

It’s interesting to turn on the radio and hear it today :)
