No, it was a more modern cabinet-style piece, with a section below with folders to hold the records. Technically, it’s a “Sonora” brand model, circa 1918 or 1919. I still have it, and indeed, occasionally play records on it. Although, only ones of 1910s/20s vintage, which the heavy arm doesn’t seem to eat up the shellac like the later 78’s.
