I just posted something opposite. I also don't like the blind church like feeling of preaching past deeds while forgetting more recent ideas of Trumps which not only show he's willing to infringe on property rights.
It's like nobody wants to see the rotten parts of the fruit and instead they're trying to polish the small bit that doesn't have worms then display it as a prize winner i.e. "THIS IS EXACTLY WHY YOU SHOULD VOTE FOR HIM HE'S SO PERFECT" But ignore things where he shows no conviction because only the scary "GOP" types lack conviction.
Had that been the case, they would have received money for the farm. They wouldn't be 'homeless'. So you're okay with the government coming to you home of many years, deciding how much your home is worth and kicking you out?
Property rights do not matter to Trump but so is okay to take peoples property as long as the Government is saying it is okay.
The money is not the issue. The issue is, take the money and move in 90 days from a place you've been enjoying as a home so that the Government can then turn around and give it to whoever wanted it in the first place.
A bit of information never hurt anyone and a conversation with someone doesn't make it ignorant. In fact it's lacking ignorance that brought me into that conversation as it is a silly thing with Trump. Texas questioned something, got jumped by a lot of people, including you come to think of it.
At least I know where some stand on property rights and imminent domain. Defend Trump at all costs! Including freedoms pertaining to property ownership!
