To: Dalberg-Acton
I was not able to get Mint 64 bit, xfce or cinnamon, to install on my computer. I got an error on boot that said the OS was missing. Tried the 32 bit version and it worked perfectly. I am going to try and stay away from MS products.

I have done that before myself. 64 bit software does not work with a 32 bit architecture.

It IS 64 bit CPU, an Intel I3. I was able to use convert a VMware image to the HD, but it wasn’t stable. So I tried the 32 bit version. I think it was misconfiguring the partitions or the grub bootloader.
