Safer Updater is a virus. It will not deinstall using its own deinstaller. It will not deinstall using add/remove Programs at the Control Panel. I can’t get rid of the f&^%$#g thing. Any other suggestions?

Do a search for *.exe When the search is done click on Name at the top of the list. This will alphabetize everything. Look down through the list for Safer Updater.exe, Safer.exe, Updater.exe If you find something that you believe is part of the Safer Updater program change the exe to txt. This will kill the program.
