FWIW - Phoebe Cates (Kline) and her husband Kevin Kline have been married since 1989, their first (and hopefully only) marriages for them both and they have 2 children together, a son and daughter.

Article from 2002:

“Now married for 13 years (now 26 years – forever by today’s standards, live alone by Hollywood standards), the notoriously private Manhattan couple maintain a low profile. Virtually retired from acting, Cates has focused on raising their kids, Owen, 10, and Greta, 7. ”We have agreed to alternate so that we’re never working at the same time,” Kline told Playboy in 1998. ”[But] whenever it’s been her slot to work, Phoebe has chosen to stay with the children.” (The whole brood made an appearance in last year’s The Anniversary Party, co-directed by Cates’ longtime friend and Fast Times costar Jennifer Jason Leigh.) Meanwhile, the Oscar-winning Kline has made it a priority to balance his work (Dave, In & Out, Life as a House) with family obligations like parent-teacher conferences. ”We’re both sensible, and we don’t separate for long periods of time,” Kline has said. ”We take care of the marriage.”

You guys can gush over Phoebe Cates and I get why you guys would, but back in the day, all this gal can say is: ummmm Kevin Kline :)

He was very funny in some movies like A Fish Called Wanda as Otto and I loved his good guy character Paden in the western Silverado (one of my favorite films BTW) but he is also good in dramatic roles and is quite the fine stage actor, many Shakespearian plays. Perhaps not everyone’s cup of tea, but he was also very good in the Cole Porter biopic “De-Lovely”.

Life’s the same, I’m moving in stereo
Life’s the same, except for my shoes

The definitive image of the ‘80s for countless then-teenage boys. That and Kelly Preston in Mischief, which had the whole school talking after it premiered on cable.

I don’t think Phoebe got naked in Private School for Girls, but Betsy Russell did. I always liked Betsy. :)
