Who knew? We never imagined hed run for president, says director Joe Dante, who parodied Donald Trump as a major character 25 years ago in the horror comedy sequel Gremlins 2: The New Batch.
John Glover receives third billing as Daniel Clamp, a wacky, publicity-loving real estate developer and best-selling author who wants to level part of downtown New York to create the Clamp Chinatown Center, where business gets oriented.
Much of the action takes place at the moguls brand-new Clamp Premier Regency Trade Center in Midtown obviously modeled on the Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue, which opened in 1983 where the logo outside shows the world held in a vise.

And that is after several kids if I remember right.
Article from 2002:
Now married for 13 years (now 26 years forever by todays standards, live alone by Hollywood standards), the notoriously private Manhattan couple maintain a low profile. Virtually retired from acting, Cates has focused on raising their kids, Owen, 10, and Greta, 7. We have agreed to alternate so that were never working at the same time, Kline told Playboy in 1998. [But] whenever its been her slot to work, Phoebe has chosen to stay with the children. (The whole brood made an appearance in last years The Anniversary Party, co-directed by Cates longtime friend and Fast Times costar Jennifer Jason Leigh.) Meanwhile, the Oscar-winning Kline has made it a priority to balance his work (Dave, In & Out, Life as a House) with family obligations like parent-teacher conferences. Were both sensible, and we dont separate for long periods of time, Kline has said. We take care of the marriage.

You guys can gush over Phoebe Cates and I get why you guys would, but back in the day, all this gal can say is: ummmm Kevin Kline :)
He was very funny in some movies like A Fish Called Wanda as Otto and I loved his good guy character Paden in the western Silverado (one of my favorite films BTW) but he is also good in dramatic roles and is quite the fine stage actor, many Shakespearian plays. Perhaps not everyones cup of tea, but he was also very good in the Cole Porter biopic De-Lovely.
;)
yep
Life’s the same, I’m moving in stereo
Life’s the same, except for my shoes
The definitive image of the ‘80s for countless then-teenage boys. That and Kelly Preston in Mischief, which had the whole school talking after it premiered on cable.
I don’t think Phoebe got naked in Private School for Girls, but Betsy Russell did. I always liked Betsy. :)
Michael Moore made some movies too.....
