Nah.
Judy Holiday in anything. Especially “The Solid Gold Cadillac”.
She was freakin’ hot, whatever she did.
She could play in the mud and spout gibberish and still be the hottest thing ever.
OK, I’m done. Carry on.
Everything is after 1946 this week. I think I’ll pass.
Your loss. I’m not sure why you think the WWII years shows are better than the ones just a few years later, but ooookay! :-) We weren’t alive to hear any of them live anyway. I like them—most of them.
There's actually a very good reason. I would tell you if you were to ask. But not here.
Oooookay. :-)
Great Philip Marlowe.
How you doing?
According to wikipedia, Van Heflin was in a Philip Marlowe radio series, but Gerald Mohr is the only one I’ve heard (that I remember).
Gerald Mohr had an unforgettable voice and acting skills.
Hey, Vision! We’re doing fine. I’m super busy with my usual Sunday stuff AND cooking beef stew. It takes up a bit of time to do it, but I’ve now got the final product simmering to the end.
How are you doing? Any news?
Like Vision said, I also didn’t know there was more than one Philip Marlowe. But, that’s no surprise, since I don’t know much. :-)
Well the pickup truck I was looking at is a no go. Rust on the frame, bed and I suspect a transmission problem. Problem avoided.
Spent all day Sat volunteering at a festival. The scooter has a screw in the rear tire so I'm awaiting a plug kit.
Life is good.
Gunsmoke!
