Prayers up. I have had kidney stones and they are brutal. I thought I had a high pain threshold but they put me on a morphine drip when i started to pass them, they were cutting the inside of my man stuff and it hurt like hell.
I just spent a month and a half, multiple procedures with those things...worst month and a half of my life.
I do indeed feel sympathy, and lots of it, for anyone who has them. I think I am done talking obsessively about them, to the probable gratification of anyone I know...
Or maybe not...:)
Mine do not have the disadvantage of being jagged (as far as I know) but they do have the disadvantage of being infected.
God has certainly put me in good hands here at Franklin Woods Hospital. I ask the staff if they pray. Nobody says "no." A few kinda nod yes. One exclaimed "Lady, I pray all day long!"
Then I propose a deal: I'll pray for them and their patients, and they pray for me.
I think this works to great advantage here and hereafter
Beer's good, too.
