The logic behind the blue-eyes attraction is weak. If pupil dilation is at the root, wouldn't it be more likely that people with dark eyes would be more attractive, since for all practical purposes, their entire eye is one big pupil, apparently dilated all the time?

Secondly, I suspect many women find dark-eyed men more attractive than blue-eyed men, but I would concede that men in general find blue-eyed women more attractive.

I love blue eyes. But I am not averse to any others!

As far as dilation, the point was one can SEE if the pupil is changing. They look for change, don’t just stupidly assume the whole iris is the pupil.
