To skate on animal abuse charges, especially if they were “gerbiling” with the snake.
Plus, they’re homos, a group not known for rational sane decisions.
I can pretty much guarantee they were not sticking a Boa up their butts without dire consequences.
Boas are great critters but if you push them to the point of defensiveness, you will pay.
They are not blindly obedient animals...or even obedient at all.
