So that’s why I’m using a 25 year old tube TV.

Just because Apple is filing the patent for it doesn't mean they'll use it. In the meantime, nobody can use their design either.

My TV is also the older style...had for 12 yrs now and not going to go with the slimline.....still seeing TV’S at thrift shops and will get another for backup. I only use it to watch videos anyway.
