Give them Chinese style squat toilets. But then again, they would probably prefer to use the Men’s room rather than those.

Why call them Chinese toilets?
In my first trip to Paris, 1969, in the middle of downtown near La Madeleine, I experienced such a toilet on Rue Duphot.

I call them French toilets.

Reminds of the the toilet I had in my hotel room when I was in Okinawa, had a sprout for both genders, god if there is one this I miss about that side of the world is that toilet.

Why call them Chinese toilets?

In my first trip to Paris, 1969, in the middle of downtown near La Madeleine, I experienced such a toilet on Rue Duphot.

Paris has catered to the foreign crowd since before France was even a major colonial power, so it's not surprising that you'd see a squat toilet there. Outside of Paris, I suspect that was a rarity in 1969. Nowadays, probably more common (for obvious reasons).
