Feelings over fact. Senior engineer friend of mine, Christian stalwart, went to a local community college to speak on how the erosion of values has created societal ills. Many arose to try to refute him during Q&A. Didn’t come near him. Finally the “professor” told my friend to stop responding, then told the students to come up and tell him how his presentation “made them feel!” An elderly lady approached him after the event and said she appreciated his presentation but felt it was light on evidence. ALL he ever presented was fact-based EVIDENCE!

The public school system should be abolished. Privatize schools, this will allow choice, reduce costs and most importantly, deprive the state from confiscating property if you don’t pay your property tax. If the state can confiscate your property, you do not own it. Costs keep going up, schools are less safe and they are responsible to the feds for funding, otherwise they get none if they don’t kowtow to common core. They have always been nothing more than indoctrination centers, not centers of objective and true education. Would it not be lovely to see the NEA union disappear? How sweet it is!

Most of the students I taught don't know that Africa is a continent, what the Holocaust was, or a definition for a grandfather.
I taught art and so, I was not forced to teach students how to take the multiple achievement tests that are the only real subject these children are taught. That's right, friends.The test IS the curriculum! Public school children are being taught how to take tests and not much else.
