A custom I’ve sometimes seen with private prayers and blessings is using an acronym.
The first letter in each word of the prayer is placed in a row. That way what is being said is more or less a secret that only the person praying for knows it.
For example- “In the name of the father, the son, and the holy spirit, I ask thee to watch over my wife and child to guide them and protect them” would be itnotftsathsiattwomwactgtapt.
A string of random letters indecipherable to almost any.
