Times Square is usually buzzing with activity, but Tuesday, a different kind of buzz drew a lot of attention.
A swarm of bees decided to visit, and take over a parked bicycle near 7th Avenue and 56th Street. The NYPD called in their beekeeper, who then rounded up the flying insects by vacuuming them.
Officials say there are no reports of anyone being stung in the area.
They believe the bees migrated because their hive was too full

(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either satire or opinion. Or both.)

No, they are just really angry that humans are polluting so much. So much that they attacked a bike.

Maybe they’re attracted to the urine and B.O.
But then, they’ve left San Francisco alone, at least for the present.

No, or they would have taken over a pimpmobile in Harlem.

The queen bee probably landed on the bike and the rest followed.

NYPD is bigger than some nation’s armies.
Odd seeing this story just now- I just took a hit from a hornet or something in the back of my left arm in the past 15 minutes. Smarts a bit.

Ah yes,The Vega. My buddy bought a brand new Chevy Vega in,I think 1973 and paid about 2800 for it. Had a built in dash 8-track. The tranny blew after about 6 months.

Someone probably dumped an illegal extra large soda on the bike.
