Let me walk my mind through this.

The man gets a gun. Let’s be generous and say it is a 12+1 capacity. So he fires what is assumed to be 26 rounds. Granted, several of the bullets may have hit two people, but for the math, let’s assume that a person struck nine times, and two other people struck eight times each were all struck with separate shots each time.

So at least 26 shots fired. At least, because those are the rounds that hit. So even with a 12+1, that is at least two magazine swaps.

Now lets consider that not only did all three shooting victims survive, they weren’t even hospitalized. They were treated and released. So he was either an incredible marksman with very familiar knowledge of human anatomy and luck on his side so he could tag multiple people in multiple locations where he wouldn’t cause serious injury, or he is an incredibly crappy shot.

But here is where it gets strange. In a large crowd, only three people are struck, all of them multiple times, and no one else with even a single wound. Heads us back to the incredible marksman. But then again, at least two magazine swaps (probably four or five unless he was an incredible marksman) and no one tackled him or threw something at him or shot him with their own weapon.

Seriously, if I saw this scene in a movie, it would seem like crap writing from someone who doesn’t understand weapons, speed of action, effect of gunshot wounds, or shooter behavior.

I just cannot get my mind to see what really happened here based on the evidence we are given.

Maybe what has been reported is inaccurate. Wouldn’t be the first time.
